- Non-adhesive shelf liner (gripped bottom preferable)

INSTRUCTIONS:
Step One: (optional step)
Steam corks so that they will be easier to cut.
Step Two:
Cut each wine cork in half. Sand any jagged cuts smooth.
Step Three:
Lay wine corks out into a pattern that you prefer. Brick rows, herringbone, etc. This is your project & your choice – Have fun!
Step Four:
Once you have a pattern and shape you like, then lay your non-adhesive paper over your chosen shape and cut the paper to cover your shape.
Step Five:
Lay your newly cut piece of paper and re-lay the cork pattern on top of the paper. Starting with the outside cork pieces, lay out your boarder onto the paper. Then add the inner cork pieces to fill in your design.
Step Five:
One by one, lift each cord half and hot glue it to the paper.
Step Six:
Trim any excess paper off the exterior edges.
… and Voila! You now have a new Bath mat!
